Look for the UL Label on the Product
Meeting the UL Standard is one thing, but maintaining it is another. The only way to verify an inversion table continues to manufacture to safety standards is if the actual product is labeled with the UL mark. Some inversion table manufacturers have gone through testing so they can claim ‘UL Certified’ – but after testing, simply remove the mark from their products so they can cost-cut by using low-quality materials while still claiming the certification.

Independent product testing (Dynamark Engineering, 2010) with a selection of widely-distributed inversion table models revealed that in endurance and strength tests, all competing models experienced catastrophic failure resulting from torn or broken metal, falling far short of the UL standard.
